Dispersant
Dispersant Agent
Uniform fiber and particle dispersion for stable papermaking stock.

Overview
Dispersant Agent is used in papermaking to improve the separation and dispersion of fibers, fillers and other particles, helping reduce clumping and settling. Improved stock uniformity can support paper formation, smoothness, opacity, brightness and printability. Common dispersant chemistries for papermaking include polyacrylates, polyphosphates, silicates, and anionic polyacrylamides, all of which work by adsorbing onto particle surfaces to create the charge or steric repulsion that keeps fibres, fillers, and contaminants from clumping together.
